POSITION: Head Coach – Women's Soccer (PT)

Requirements:

A bachelor's degree is required. The incumbent must have demonstrated knowledge of NCAA rules and a commitment to the academic development of student-athletes. Must demonstrate excellent communication, customer service, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to effectively engage with diverse populations. Must be self-directed and have the ability to make independent decisions while managing multiple priorities. Capable of multitasking and working both independently and collaboratively, with a creative and innovative approach. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Microsoft Office applications, with general computer literacy. Knowledge of competition and safety regulations. Must represent the University in a professional manner at all times, as well as have the ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality in any situation. Must demonstrate respect for others in the workplace and a commitment to creating a supportive work environment that values the contributions of all employees.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Teach the sport of soccer to student-athletes individually and as a team at the NCAA Division II varsity level.
Provide overall leadership and management of an NCAA Division II varsity women's soccer program, including collaboration on program goals, development of individual and team objectives, facilitation of regular meetings, and oversight of performance management.
Recruit and manage retention of academically and athletically qualified student-athletes.
Provide instruction to team members, including the planning, organizing, and implementation of practice and competition event sessions.
Ensure education of student-athletes regarding compliance with NCAA, conference rules, and regulations.
Must complete the NCAA Recruiting Exam annually and maintain a strong understanding of NCAA rules and regulations.
Abide by all University, CACC, and NCAA Division II rules, including NCAA Bylaw 10.1, Ethical Conduct.
Ensure a safe environment for the student-athletes. Fosters a spirit of teamwork and unity among department members that allows for cohesiveness, support, and working effectively together to enable each employee and the department to succeed.
Promote and foster a supportive environment for all students, faculty, and staff.
Perform other duties which may be assigned by the Director of Athletics and/or VP for Student Affairs.

Hours of Employment: The incumbent should be flexible enough to perform the duties of the position as well as meet the needs of the department and the University. Travel may be required

Salary Range: Commensurate with experience.
